SNR 47.0 22.0 dbLine Attenuation 10.0 8.0 dbwhen ADSL light is on then the above values it gave (Downstream Upstream) so the SNR and line is fine i thinki can't hear any noticeable disturbance.but i register a complaint they said there must a problem in line, call dataone...i called but they yet not come to see it...

i borrow modem from friend and checked but there also same problem....linemen said that there is no problem in line...without seeing my home line...they are not giving me proper response...
dnt knw what to do?

A visit to exchange might help. Talk to someone knowledgeable. Linemen are not usually aware of DSL faults.

i visit to exchange office, they send a linemens to home and they just check my line from DP to home and said there was noise in your line, now everything is fine..and went away...???i think they are not taking it seriously ,they are just escaping from there work...

I experienced the same problem buddy .. It might be a problem with the telephone lines .. Even though your land line is working good the signal rate wouldn't be sufficient for your ADSL modem . Call the local office and register a complaint they will check the lines if everything is good and still the same persists you should seriously throw your modem in the garbage and go for a new one
Mine was the second case and i replaced my TERACOM with a new Digisol and a D-Link wireless router which can also be used with other broadband services . Hope that helps

I'm also facing little same problem, from last 15days there's a huge noise of disturbance coming out from my phone's receiver otherwise it's remains dead, broadband keeps connect and disconnect itself but I'm still little lazy on this because broadband continues working at least for 1 hour once it connected properly because I really don't care about my landline phone..... I also visited bsnl office with an application regarding this issue and promised to send a lineman to check the problem, 10 days gone no one came... but that's bsnl nothing new....

i went to exchange office with my modem ,they check my modem from exchange office but there also faced the same problem,so they think there is problem in modem so they bring there modem but with that modem also same problem.so they realized that problem is not with line but in there exchange office only so tell them to change the port,so lets hope after changing the port it might work fine...

as you said that there is noise and disturbance means there is problem in line, tell them to find joins or cracks in line or something which disturb the single, after that it will be fine. if still there is problem tell them to change wire or exchange the pair..

I told them everything in a written application....10 days gone nothing happened.... I can't really afford to going to bsnl office on daily basis....
