Folks i have a samsung tft with no in built speakers , i am planning to get a dth connection to use this moniter1. what is the best way to do this .2 i have pc i and i have heard that if i go for internal tv tuner card its a headache and not sure whether it has av rca input ??3 i saw a external tv tuner card but it does not have rca a/v input , the store guy showed a cable saying i can connect rca to s- video as it had a s-video input , is it possible??

S-Video does work fine. I am using the same for my computer. Internal you can even record and preference can be given if your monitor accepts connectivity only when the desktop is switched on. External is good if you are directly connecting to monitor but no recording.

If you want a tv tuner card with rca a/v input, then go for Avermedia Super009. It does not have a s-video input.
