Effect of DNS on Ping.

I am using NextDNS as my primary DNS to achieve parental control and block ads. Is it going to put any effect on my gaming ping and page load timings? I get around 60-70ms to Nextdns.

DNS does not have an effect on pings. Unless the different DNS are using AnyCast and returning different IPs for the same host names which are physically located in different locations.
