xp100 is meant for high performance engines afaik. Try getting shell petrol once and see if it makes any difference?
I suggested CNG because anyway there is gonna be a lot of issue with e20 petrol, CNG would be a wiser choice for older cars which are non e20 compliant. There has been a speculation for e27 petrol as well in the near future.

@Rickysin although I don't see any performance or mileage drop in my car, there's surely some rough idling during cold start, it's not as smooth as it used to be. I have recently got my car serviced and made sure to replace the engine oil with Shell fully synthetic.
I am worried about the long term health of the engine, no idea what impact e20 would have. Maruti engines are built to last but after this e20 bullshit, I might end up selling my car and buying an EV instead.

Hope they roll out E0 fuel soon, otherwise bye bye decade old vehicles. My concern is that every minster of india drives government owned vehicles ( even for personal uses) so they don't have to worry about insurance coverage and all the nuisance but will it be same for common persons of India? I'm doubtful. Even if an insurance company says they will comply and provide insurance to E20 used cars , will they keep their end of promise? But on other hand I found this report kind of lollypop thrown to common person:
