if it was 3-4mb/s could have been usenet..there are sites which sell movies legally with drm protection may be that can be a possibility but they do not allow download clients....also for downloading at those speeds 12mb/s not sure if you can do without raid setupwhatever the thing might be i need thoseee speeds at affordable rates

I get close to 4 MBps (bytes) when I download patches n stuff for my boxes (servers)... from sun/ibm/cognos but again thats again no way close to what I get on my workstation which is measly ~ 100KBps

cable lan go upto 2mbpsif the movie lies i your lan this can happenor there might be some important people like national security officers house of india sure of that they will be providing that speedby govt of india
