Ridiculous.Seems people do not need food, water, shelter and electricity.Someone need to push a PIL against govt for wasting public money on something like this

I dont mind if the govt is giving these mobile phones to those people are who are living in foot paths...but they wont get it as they have any ID Proof....the people who have ID proofs like Ration Cards in below poverty line will get mobile phones...even those people who are below BPL for sure will have atleast 1 cell phone in their house...Instead of spending money for cell phones those 7,000 crores can be spent in a way by building a sports village - recruiting 20 people per sports & train by this we India could get more medals in Olympics...which would make us proud...
