Adding Gionee to the list.

Gionee warns customers against buying phones on e-commerce sites - The Times of India

Elaborating on the advisory, Arvind Vohra, India Head, Gionee Smartphones, said, "Selling at discounted rates is hurting our brand because these e-commerce sites are discounting prices way below other retail outlets. Also, they do not provide any after-sales service which is fundamental to Gionee. If customers face any issues, the e-commerce sites turn them away saying it's a brand issue."
"While there is nothing wrong with selling at competitive prices, it does affect our brand perception and I would like to clarify that Gionee does not have any direct arrangement with any e-commerce portal in India."
"As of now, Gionee sells only through its e-store and registered distributors with its products available across over 20,000 retail stores," he added.

Soon we may need to edit the list to.. Companies which are not yet evil as that list would be smaller....

Asus is the latest company to warn customers against buying products from e-commerce sites such as Amazon, Snapdeal, eBay and Flipkart. The Taiwanese-American company issued an advisory saying these online marketplaces are not authorised dealers for ASUS products and that the company does not take any responsibility of genuineness of the products sold through these sites. ASUS is the fifth-largest personal computer vendor by unit sales after Lenovo, HP, Dell and Acer according to a report by technology research advisory firm Gartner.

In an email response to Business Standard, Asus said its intention is to caution its customers and not to give a bad name to e-commerce. "ASUS has just advised its users to be cautious on pre- and post-sales terms. The authenticity of the product is the focus. Irrespective of the channels of purchasing, the focus should be on the genuineness of the product."
Errm. So not as evil as others?

These companies should learn from Apple. And Dell too I guess. You should be able to check the warranty status of any product by entering the serial number on the company's website.

Add JBL to the list. Last Sunday visited JBL showroom for soundstick and pricing was high so I asked the owner for online price difference. He showed me notice from JBL India that JBL India won't honour the warranty if the product is bought from online retailers like flipkart, snapdeal etc.

HP India cautions buying from unauthorised e-commerce channels - Livemint

The US-based computer maker has advised consumers to purchase PCs, laptops and tablets through its authorised channel partners and its own online store. The firm said the “predatory pricing” is hurting the industry and it is working with industry bodies like MAIT and Nasscom to ensure a right framework of policies. “We have already issued an advisory on what we can do and what we can’t do with these partners (channel partners). We advised people to work through our officially registered channel partners. That’s a very strong advisory we have issued to the market,” HP India vice president and general manager printing and personal systems group Rajiv Srivastava told PTI.” The advisory was issued about a month back, he added.”

add Xolo to this list. Cracked my display and while searching for service centers, there's a message on xolo homepage saying only to buy from authorised retailers. This is becoming a serious problem.
