hmm.. ultra dns its free? een i ran this benchmark.. get results as follows ultradns > open dns> google dns> cloudflare dns.
i was using cloudflare one. i find some lag on google dns.. so had switchted to that..
also now i put ultradns so using their dns, is it free ? and why is it free ? what do these companies get out of it? can they see what we do web using their DNS?

No, nothing is changed on the way.
Yes, Cloudflare are present in India since few months and serving traffic locally from Mumbai. I don't know since when they've started advertising 1.1.1.1 also, but this is good news.
They are present in Delhi but only peered to Telcos, not peering with alternative ISPs yet.
The only option for Cloudflare is to peer in Mumbai, which is still much better than before when they were not having any location for open peering.

@philip marlowe My Excitel Internet wasn't working since January and even though Excitel changed LCO in our area, the new one also is not doing good work. How should I proceed from here?
I made numerous complaints but so far no resolution.
Right now, Internet is off for more than 1 day.
My internet goes of daily its that unstable.
