i personally do not care if i get 50mbps all the time. i don't even care about the 80% trai regulation. the internet needs to be usable. when airtel 4mbps is more usable than your 50mbps plan
it kind of becomes unacceptable
There is a pattern to every disruptive service. I remember, I was one of the very few privileged who got the Jio preview when no one heard about it, speeds were incredible. On Band 40 I was getting a minimum 12-13MB/s symmetric when the tower was no where near my residence. Eventually, speeds got shit and now it's less than turtle. There was a great article in ET titled, India riding on 4G lanes at 3G speeds.
The same cycle seems to be repeating now in case of Excitel.
But then Hathway has a lot of complaints in recent days here on the forum itself. And I have not seen much feedback about DEN![]()
In that case I'll probably go back to my old ISP, 12 Mbps seems reasonable enough and the backbone is AIrtel which means lower latencies but their uptimes are worse than Shitcitel.I am not going to touch ACT if it comes to my areaThey really have gone downhill in the past couple of years

I would also like to mention that when downloading any torrent, speeds are averaging about 40-45kbps except their peered torrents (such as Ubuntu, etc.) When downloading the same on Airtel Broadband, that same torrent will reach around 1MB/s.i personally do not care if i get 50mbps all the time. i don't even care about the 80% trai regulation. the internet needs to be usable. when airtel 4mbps is more usable than your 50mbps planit kind of becomes unacceptable
