that's awful. my lco boxes are not very well sealed but i have not had much downtime due to rain. but then we have only had 5-6 cases of showers lasting more than a few minutes this year.

PPPoE servers on my connection. I cannot seem to connect to the first one with my user/password. So I assume, it is LCO's PPPoE server.

Probably related to TCIL issue between Delhi-Noida POP, I had a brief outage of about 10 minutes just now too.

RFO we got from TCIL
Resolution : The services were affected due to multiple fiber cut in our NLD media during mentioned period.
Primary path was affected due to BIL Partial Cable cut at 12 km from Jhalawar on major route Jaipur-Dewas. Secondary path was affected due to fiber cut between Vijaynagar-Himatnagar on major route Delhi-Gandhinagar. Tertiary path was affected due to fiber cut between Delhi-MCIE on major route Delhi-Bhopal.
The services got restored after fiber was spliced by our network team.
We regret for the inconvenience caused.

Pings right now are hovering between 70-120ms on google.com.
Speeds went crap at around 10pm apparently.

Experiencing slow speeds on many websites I use for past 3-4 hours, this is what they wrote in their automatic ticket,

Dear Subscriber, We are experiencing Slowness in Browsing and Downloading on peering websites due to Peering MAINTENANCE with one of our peering partner GOOGLE due to which some of the sites may have some slowness while browsing. Their engineers are working towards the resolution and services will be normalized in 4 Hours.

It might be the reason for bad ping on google @Sushubh
