Excitel Broadband User Experience in Gurgaon

@opomiyulen my local ISP gives almost 80% of plan speed during late night till early morning & around 70% during morning to evening but during evening to night around 12am it drops to around 30%. You mean to say excitel performs even worse than that?

@guest123 it depends on what ur usage is. If u are using YouTube, Netflix, prime, Zee, sonyliv and other normal websites, you won't feel any difference. Excitel is pretty good on peering network. I use a local isp and honestly I don't feel much of a difference when I compare it too excitel, as per my use case scenario. you won't get promised speeds to foreign servers/websites and other non peered services if u use excitel. @Anurag Bhatia here used it but didn't continue after the plan expired as it was not acceptable for him.

@opomiyulen I was talking about foreign servers/non-peered services only. My local ISP is otherwise good except for the slowdown during 7-11pm that too only on certain foreign servers due to congested routing at that time.

excitel being weird today. random dropped pings. and some sites are taking excessive time to load lol. i just hope it is a backend problem and not something i would need to get fixed at my end.

what does it mean if there are no values shown for Optical Module Input Power(dBm) and Optical Module Output Power(dBm) lol.

@Sushubh that can indicate intermittent LoS (loss of signal) and looking the sessions, I do feel something is wrong with your power, if not the ONU itself.

I guess it was a local issue coz it resolved at around 1015am when the lco must have opened office and noticed the issue.
