@x720, lol thanks, looks like you nailed it. @mercentric, you are right too. Lol@bobby, it was a joke :p

Whats the big difference? just the second version of the phone (i guess).

Yes just another version with just hell lot of new features! :p

Used Google Navigation today... wasn't too happy with caching of maps because it happens only for around 10miles. So, i wanted the complete city map, which seems to be not possible to cache. Does this Google Navigation use internet when i use it on the go(if i use with cached maps)?

yes ......gprs/3g needed all the time, and on my sgs i could cache atleast 100 miles diameter, donno why u can only save only 10 miles

any videos which show how to cache 100miles ?
i can cache only 10miles square box.

i got it, i was able to precache the map. each time i precache it is max of 10m range. so i did multiple precaches and was able to store some maps.Used google navigation for the first time, was a good experience. I need to buy a stand for my mobile in the car. Anyone have the idea how to check airtel 2g data usage in mobile?

What phone and what os version are you using?

Cached/Offline map areas are meant to used when you dont have internet connection on the move.

i'm using samsung Galaxy pocket with Android 2.3 as OS.Tried installing Syngic, but it was downloading some 300MB, so cancelled it and tried to delete which was not possible.BTW, are precached maps temporary and only for single time use? its not there now.
