Fair Usage Policy on Airtel IPTV Plans #airtelsucks

As per our telephonic conversation, the fair usage policy has been
shared with you in detail. For the Magic1299 plan that you are looking
to migrate has limit of 15GB of data download at a speed of 1Mbps.
However, post 15GB of usage under fair usage policy the broadband
download speed would be downgraded to 256 Kbps for that particular bill
cycle.
We appreciate that you have helped us to figure out this disconnect on
our website. The same would be rectified at the earliest.

airtel has finally revealed the reason behind implementing fair usage policy.
cybercafe owners. they run their cafes on airtel residential plans. and we are suffering because of airtel agents who sell these plans to cybercafe owners.

my speed was downgraded to 512 kbps a few minutes ago.I guess I crossed 15 GB. I think it wil become 256 kbps when I cross 25 GB.I will report back if the speeds return to normal 1 mbps at night time. highly unlikely.EDIT : My speeds are hovering between 256-384 kbps now. getting worse.

I guess I crossed 15 GB. I think it wil become 256 kbps when I cross 25 GB.
I will report back if the speeds return to normal 1 mbps at night time. highly unlikely.

try downloaing something on chrome or IDM and check the speed
and how can your connection have 2 FUPs after 15gb and 25gb

This is getting weird now.
Now my speeds are back to 1 mbps since the past few minutes.
I think I am in for a roller coaster ride for the next few days...
your speeds were never down.this problem is happening to many people
i have gotten low speeds then back to normal especially the speed goes down in the morning and afternoon
