False international call roaming chargers - Help needed

Airtel added additional chargers to my postpaid during my international travel saying I made these calls, I immediate checked my call logs on mobile and obviously these were not present.

I understand how international roaming works, I dont even disconnect the call. Notice all these calls are dialed to 52555 which is airtel's own number and notice all are exact 6 seconds.

Even after fighting with Airtel for 2 weeks they are just closing the ticket even without responding. Anyway to fight it?

Escalate/complain to the appellate for Mumbai/MH area via email. The number is question seems to be a special short code number used by Airtel.

Always take a roaming pack if going overseas. Otherwise be prepared for surprises like this one.

I usually buy local sim card so never activated roaming packs.

I have sent multiple email to appellate but not even auto acknowledgement, complained on twitter too

A roaming pack is a safer bet only because you have a prepaid amount with fixed charges depending on the country you visit. Of course nothing like a local SIM.
