Fancy Number in BSNL Postpaid

I am looking for a fancy number and found out three numbers. One number ends with 45678.Visited BSNL, bangalore office and this is procedure:Fancy numbers are locked by marketing team. I need to pay an amount of Rs. 2000 (Non refundable) and raise a request for getting fancy number.BSNL office will submit request to marketing team to release that number.Once they release, number is activated and alloted to me.Did any one else paid BSNL for a fancy number? If yes then what was the procedure?Is 2000 fixed for all fancy number or the amount depends on number?I have also found out another number in BSNL which is even good. Just like 9845098450 where first 5digits and remaining 5 digits are same leasehelp:I am not updating the numbers because i have found out myself with gr8 difficulty and i dont want some one else to book it before i do :tongue:

get some normal doublet or triplet , why to waste 2000 Rs :tongue:

Normal double and triple digits are common and i get such numbers for free. I am looking for a special number.

These days LEVEL3 numbers are given for free. I feel LEVEL1 numbers are charged 2K because i asked for a number ending with 45678 and they asked me 2K.

Such fancy numbers get a hell lot of wrong number calls and is a head ache, but if someone loves to talk to strangers and can explain the whole story afew times a day then these could be helpful.
