Fast internet in Janakpuri, West New delhi

@igloo, Even I live in a1 block janak puri and am thinking of getting excitel. The lovely cable guy is asking for 850 for a plan that is mentioned for 650 on excitel's website. Are these ISP from local cable guy safe/secure to use?
 
safe n secure in what way you are asking? I have found their service better than mtnl for now.

Ideally charges should be 650+14%tax =740 but he is changing me 800.
Maybe for new customers he has increased pricing.
 
I am only concerned about downtime and disconnections, my work is totally dependent on internet. How many disconnections do you face in a day?
Secure as in the local cable guy sniffing the network.
BTW, I am thinking of getting it from excitel directly and not from lovely cable, he is charging 100 bucks extra than the plan.

I don't think he has time and know how to do it. You can use VPN if unsure. Downtime is not much, once or twice a week, though comes back in a hour. The guy no I gave you reply to complaints via sms... love it.
 
Well excitel can't give you without lovely. Because last mile is cable laid by lovely only. You can get hathway or pacenet using same ethernet cables. my neighbours are using pacenet with cable coming from same switch as mine.
It is one and the same thing. But payment would be collected by lovely only.
 
Normal wireless router with ethernet rj45 wan port.
Login is via pppoe which most home router have builtin, he ll give you uid pwd n service name.
 
There is one "Parth Internet" contact him on 9250008850 , 4MBPS True unlimited no FUP , at 1800 per month. New operator , started operations FEB 2016
