FASTag, GNSS and Toll Tax

ok. i googled for photos of how fastag looks and this seems to be a fastag.

anyone here using fastag at tolls?
 
It was present in my car as well since beginning. It also has warning written that do not peel it off.
 
Its now compulsory on new car... so sooner or later you will have to have it!
 
They would link it to your aadhaar. Which would link to your bank account. Toll tax directly deducted from your account! ?????
 
LOL..Paytm already has it. Link Fasttag to paytm and it will auto deduct money from Paytm account.

And if u have paytm bank account - it will do the needful too!! :D
 
This is why I am not a fan of bbps. They would eventually link all public utilities to Aadhaar > Bank account. People would have no control over the bill payments.

i wonder how do i find the vpa of my own fastag. it is also amazing to see people so cheerful about paying toll tax just because there is a cool technology involved in paying through it.
