I think the best option for keypad phone is getting jio bharat the 1200rs variant. If you go with brands like Nokia, Samsung they'll start from 2.5k+

I'll also be getting a phone this week for my brother, he's in 9th and needs to travel for classes so just for calling purpose that too once a while. While researching for a feature phone this is what i could shortlist.

Also Jio recharge is cheaper total investment would be 1200rs phone 895rs recharge for 336 days makes it feasible just for calling purpose.

Phone is going to be used in Nepal

Basically cook needs to send a basic phone to his dad in his village.

Nokia 105 Classic, battery backup could be better.

I ended up ordering 110 4G. Seems like a shit device. Display is very small but other 4G models had other issues based on reviews.
