One thing I noticed is that when I open broadband.forum for the first time, the whole website loads up "in an instant" quite fast, so something has changed for the better like Chrome's "pre-fetching" of your frequent links... earlier this website used to load at "normal" pace...

I think he means quoting. (Some people used to get banned for sometime because of too much quoting in the beginning 2021-22 days).

Quotes create too much mess in posts.

Photos are now displayed in larger size covering entire width of window, like in this link below. Good change
Edit: Copying IBF post link creates messy quote like post
So removed it.

that shouldn't happen but 2.3 cascading is a mess. if folks like full sized images, i suppose i can remove the resizing code. but it results in too much scrolling imo.
