So, the forum is now running a beta build of the under development XenForo 2.3 update. There is a new default theme that has an auto-dark mode based on system preferences. Passkey support is there if you want to use it. Apart from that there is nothing much for the end user. This update does support WebP attachments, but I am still not sure I want the headache of enabling them because majority of attachments here have little to no long-term value.

I am using the new widget options for the homepage. Instead of popular content and latest threads, the two new widgets are trending content and featured content. Trending is currently showcasing weird threads probably because of lack of usable traffic data. Featured is manual and I suppose I would add threads that are important new information to it with time. I hope that they would become useful with time. If a certain thread seems to be suitable to be featured, do ping me about it.

So push notifications working fine for you folks? It sends me to homepage on both pc and mobile. I wonder what I messed up this time around.

it's weird whenever I am posting anything screen goes like this and then I click again to post it gets posted twice , I have to refresh the page to see whether it was posted or not.

The new update seems good. But I am unable to see the option for changing themes. I recall that in the previous build, the ability to change theme was at the bottom, but in the new update, I am unable to find it.

May be am I looking elsewhere?

yeah coz older themes were causing weird behavior for safari users. so they are disabled. safari users also do not see theme picker at the bottom after logging in. i can see it on chrome.

You guys should be able to see at least this.

I have a brand new test account and I cannot replicate this behavior here lol. I do not have access to Safari so cannot test that.
