Feedback - Updates (2024)

Things I've noticed with this new update :
1. Can't change back to default light grey theme (it's light blue now).
2. Emojis are latest + I am seeing a few more of them which is amazing.
3. Don't know what changed (cannot specifically say) but the homepage looks more organised and clean now (I'm talking about the text, elements, alignments and overall little things which cannot exactly be pointed out. Everything seems more polished now.
4. I don't know about any notification bug or anything as I don't get a lot but I have encountered one issue where I click on post reply and it doesn't do anything but after refresh it shows that it is posted.

Things I wish I could see again :
Only the light grey default theme (as an option). I'm using chrome android.

Feeling good to be a part of this thread in the beginning itself.

Yeah I do not like blue. Once things settle down, I would clone the blue theme and try to make a grayscale version of it like last time.

Sushubh, any chance for getting Amoled theme in the future?

isn't the dark theme dark enough lol? i mean it has bluish tone. i think it's less painful on the eye compared to white.

amoled was just created by @Nishant iirc by changing predefined colors like i do with grayscale. i never could use it because contrast is just so hard to get right. there are just too many color settings to get right.

i have no idea why 2.2 themes are opening up weird popups for safari users here. i used grey theme for many hours today and i did not see the same issue at my end.

btw do try out passkey. i am not a fan generally speaking. but it seems to work well here.

I mean we are used to pitch black as in amoled. Hence using a black theme with a bluish tone seems a bit off.

Maybe we can get used to it with time.

Ok. So, I have turned the old themes on. If they work for you, use them. If there are issues, switched back to Default theme. Fixing them is going to be hard. So, for the time being.
