hah. it does not mean i am comfortable selling it at that price tag. a friend of mine who knows how much care i take of my cars has been pushing me to sell it to him for 2 years now. he is ready to pay a 50K premium over the valuation by people involved in the business. :P i am just not sure if it is what i want to do.
i am really hoping that clutch plate replacement would fix the harshness of the gear shift and shocker change would improve the ride. if there is any need would spend 10K more and get both of the back tires replaced. would not mind keeping this car for another two years before selling it at the price of junk. :

one question:
when your driving pattern is such that you have driven 30K kms in 4years why did you buy a diesel car?

I know the jokes on me. I just prefer diesel cars. Especially Turbocharged.
Also found out at the showroom that the model I have is now priced at around 10.8 lakhs inclusive of everything. I got it for around 8.6 lakhs 4 years ago.
I think the biggest change is the freaking registration charges that is now based on the value of the car and not fixed. So basically, instead of paying 8-10K for registration you now end up paying 90K for a 10L car. This is pretty insane. A 4 crore rupee car would cost 40 lakhs extra just because of the registration charges!
I wonder what they would charge me if I buy a new car and keep my number.
 
This has only come in to effect in Haryana but in Delhi and UP this has always been the case (since I remember ofcourse)
 
Right. I think I paid just 8K for registration 4 years ago. I am not sure I would like to pay 55K for registration for a 6.5L car. Would have to see how much they charge for transfering number from one model to another.
In any case I would prefer to stick with my current number. Getting your choice of number is harder now than ever before.
