well i am not sure why the world cup is being allowed to be broadcasted through DD. supreme court usually include games and events which includes indian teams. fifa world cup might be hugely popular in india but none of the matches are of national importance (i think this was the term used by the supreme court when they forced private broadcasters to share indian cricket matches with DD).

IPL of course do not feature the 'indian cricket team' so the matches are not of national importance.

bhwhahaha 1080i.do you know how the slow motion replays look like in interlace?.its all blurry.720p is better than 1080i.espn HD in USA only provides in 720p cuz there is no blur in slow motion.

true hd is 1080p and very few satellite operators in usa can provide that
