US is likely to qualify. Ghana, the way they have played so far, will not be easy pushovers.Portugal would beat them, but dont think with a huge margin. Also, a poor loss to Germany in their opening game has meant that US should also loose by a big margin in order for Portugal to overtake them.
Would be fun in Ghana manages to qualify :p

Yes, the only group that's still open anyone can qualify.
Just checked the Sony six website it has also NETHERLANDS VS CHILE on it's schedule at 9:19 pm.

My guess, Germany draws the match. There was a big controversy in 1982 due to which FIFA was forced to play last match simulatneously

West Germany versus Austria was a controversial 1982 FIFA World Cup game played at the El Molinón stadium, Gijón, Spain, on 25 June 1982. In German, it is known as Nichtangriffspakt von Gijón (lit. Non-aggression pact of Gijón) or Schande von Gijón (lit. Disgrace of Gijón),[1] while in Algeria it is known as the Anschluss.[2]The match was the last game of the first-round Group 2, with Algeria and Chile having played the day before. With the outcome of that match already decided, a win by one or two goals for West Germany would result in both them and Austria qualifying at the expense of Algeria, which had beaten West Germany in the first game. After 10 minutes, West Germany took the lead. Thereafter, neither team scored, and few scoring chances were created.

This looks tragic. Algeria were eliminated due to Germany's non sporting behavior

Realising the scoreline suited both of them, Germany and Austria effectively stopped playing. In the ensuing 80 minutes there were no shots, and barely any tackles, crosses or sprints. The game was no longer a contest, it was a conspiracy. The teams' cynicism provoked universal scorn.
Did the Algerian players take offence? Not at all, Merzekane says. "We weren't angry, we were cool," he says. "To see two big powers debasing themselves in order to eliminate us was a tribute to Algeria. They progressed with dishonour, we went out with our heads held high."From all over the world came calls for Fifa to punish the Europeans or stage a replay, but in the end all the world's governing body did was rule that henceforth the last pair of games in every group must be played simultaneously. "Our performances forced Fifa to make that change, and that was even better than a victory," Belloumi says. "It meant that Algeria left an indelible mark on football history."

lol .. No Brazil would want to win as loosing would mean taking on Netherlands... Its only if Netherlands had lost there was a possibility they may try & avoid a win

So an Uruguay player bites an Italian & then within two minutes Uruguay scores. The commentator : Uruguay have truly bitten into Italy here :numbness:
Looks like Italy will be out... needing a draw with 10 mins to go are down 0-1
