Germany Vs France

Although Germans were ahead in 15th minute, French played really well in the first half. In the second half Germany realised their mistakes and did not allow any spaces in midfield, france looked toothless. Germans did miss many chances for scoring another goal, which has become normal in this world cup. But the difference between these two sides was Neuer, the best goal keeper in the world cup. Looks like a person with attitude, but he has great skills. The reaction of Benzema in the last minute when Neuer stopped the shot said it all.

Brazil Vs Colombia

Colombia looked the best side in the world cup, boasting the highest goal scorer in the tournament, James Rodriguez. But the mistake in the 7th minute by defence led to goal by Brazil. From then on Brazil played like how they needed to play from the first game, but didnt score, thanks to some shabby finishing and desperate defence. The refree was among the worst, allowed all kinds of fouls, seems he forgot the yellow cards at home. Brazil started playing rough and later colombia too followed suit. Sad to see Neymar out of World Cup just because the refree did not penalise anyone who was committing foul, everyone tried committing more.

David Luiz goal was a stunner, Rodriguez goal at the end led to more tense final moments.

Bad news for Brazil since they are without Neymar and their inspirational captain defender Thiago Silva for the next match against Germany. If Germany can come out of their Semifinal syndrome, they can easily beat Brazil.
