Finally tel. rent free 749NU plan

^same here...i have 749NU and One India plan...so would they change my plan automatically?
 
well,i dont think so they r going to change u to 749 combo until u call them and ask them to change ur plan..:)

Problem is people at exchange is totally unaware of the plan as usual .When I told him that new combo 749NU plan gives 2mbps speed, he insisted me that it will downgrade my net speed to 256kpbs .

Edit#I have just applied for it ,as new plan will definitely save a lot of money .
 
yes!! MTNL customer care is not aware of anything, fetching a correct info from them is very difficult..:(
 
I have MTNL prepaid sim and I'm never able to talk to customer care:confused:Most of the times you have to ask them to change the plan...Its almost never automatic.
 
yes thats the main quality of MTNL..they want to keep good close relationship with their customers, so they want them to call the customer care on the regular basis to maintain that good relation.:pbut unfortunately network is down most of the times, so we cant even make calls to customer care...dunno when these guys will wake up and take their service seriously:mad:

Guys why would they downgrade/ upgrade your plan without your consent at the same time loose money.

Its up to you; how smart or dumb you are!!

BTW would you ever expect such a treatment from Airtel/ Vodafone/ Indicom/ Reliance/ Idea. They would rip your clothes off.

I had no hassle changing the plan; just called up 1500.
