well,i dont think so they r going to change u to 749 combo until u call them and ask them to change ur plan..
Problem is people at exchange is totally unaware of the plan as usual .When I told him that new combo 749NU plan gives 2mbps speed, he insisted me that it will downgrade my net speed to 256kpbs .

I have MTNL prepaid sim and I'm never able to talk to customer careMost of the times you have to ask them to change the plan...Its almost never automatic.
yes thats the main quality of MTNL..they want to keep good close relationship with their customers, so they want them to call the customer care on the regular basis to maintain that good relation.but unfortunately network is down most of the times, so we cant even make calls to customer care...dunno when these guys will wake up and take their service seriously
