Bleh... he used all vulgar words in a song or songs... half of our population speaks like that every day :PIt will make him more popular :triumphant:

mmm i would have to disagree. from what i hear, india has majority of its population below the age of 25-30 years.

So how many percentage of women will be comfortable with the vulgar song? As much as 30%? Or even comfortable that a known person listens and enjoys them.

I am sorry but your knowledge of your half of the population is incorrect. Maybe half of the people you know. But then, I am not claiming I know it all.

i am not a fan of petitions. at least here in india. laws are not created because you file a petition. you need to wait for the society to change. that's what happened with gay marriages. fine, lots of people are still not in favor of it. but at least a high court in india made gay marriage (or was it sex?) legal.

it would happen with time. it is just the double standards of our government that ciggies and alcohol are treated with contempt but is still legal. they would show us warning that smoking would kill you but they do not have the guts to ban it. and weed is considered like plague even though there are enough scientific studies out there which confirm that it is safer than tobacco. again, i am not talking about heroine or cocaine or methamphetamine here. i am talking about marijuana. go read about it. it is a perfectly safe psychoactive drug and is used for medical purposes. and it is legal in some parts of europe. and is also legal for medical purpose in some american states.

of course as we have already discussed in other threads, bhang is already legal in some areas of india (or during some festivities). people do not die from weed. but enough people die from smoking and drinking.

And I want my bazooka too......... Legally :)

go apply for one. ask the government permission to buy a lethal weapon. complete formalities. pay the dues. get it. if the government states that you cannot have one, there is probably a law against it. if there is no law against it, go to court and challenge the rejection.

well i am weak in theoretical accounts , indeed half of the people i know use vulgar words on daily basis. YES!I hope people get more civilized in India, maybe that will end an interest in listening to these songs or just enjoy

so if i use bc and mc sometimes as part of my vocabulary around people who are comfortable with that kind of language, does that make me uncivilized?

is PISSING/defecating IN PUBLIC is illegal???lets make it legal too.afterall its freedom of expression in indiaafterall vulgar language is similar to it if done .......

I got banned for using not so vulgar word once here... And honey bunny is fine singing full of abuses.. My bad luck! :DNo offense to anyone.

my simple question is this. if it is ok for me and you to use bc and mc profanities in public (which actually talks about incest which is as illegal and immoral as rape) what is wrong with honey singh songs that were not recorded in india. that are not being broadcast on national television in india? how does these songs make honey singh a criminal here in india especially with no such laws? how is it socially acceptable for us to use these profanities? no one takes you to court for using such language in public.

You didnt get my point. (Ignore)

you do what you want to do in your private space. that is what freedom of speech means. this forum is not your private space. this is more like a school or a workplace with its own set of rules.

i get your point. people have to become civilized. it depends upon their moral values. laws would not solve the problem. and curbing rights of people certainly would not change anything. banning a song would not magically change anything. if laws and restrictions were able to change the morality of the public, politicians would have used that for their own benefits long time ago.
