Use Greenify app and it will tell you the number of apps that use GCM service. You will be surprised. Lol.

I am assuming that the app would still get the ping from Flipkart. But I could of course be wrong.

Hmm. But I don't think that one or two pings a day would cause the battery charge to plummet
Just checked the stats in 'Wakelock Detector', Flipkart doesn't even show up there. So the pings are negligible.

For me Flipkart App is CRAP.
I am never able to login on it, Same details work fine on computer.
Asked customer care got CANNED reply,
Left them a 1 star on Playstore with my saga, hope someone listens to it in a yr. or two.

So I added an item on the desktop. Did not order it. Got a notification on mobile. lol.
