^ @ Rahul , you are mistaken !Many users have been using it .None said its a trojan ... ...in case of doubt , use non-password option .

did u have to type it that big? do u have any evidence that the program stole ur password? ur excessive bill could be due to the fact that u accidentally left ur download on in the day time.. and ur password can still be hacked even if u are using latest antivirus,firewall,spyware[/b]
if ure using pppoe mode, the hacker just has to break into ur router.. think before u type son

p.s. shaplus u cud post the source of ur software.. that would clear any doubts

Somebody joins today, makes one single post with BIG fonts just to criticise and blame someone for his inflated bills, comeon man grow up....Some people act stupid and some are stupid, which one u are Mr. smarto_rahul???

It is around 3 years I first released my dataone tool. Now there are lot of other usage softwares, some with more and better features. But still I get lot of request from users to release a version for new portal. So I have modified the existing version to work with new portal and have released it as "BSNL Broadband Usage 1.0" . This version currently deals only with charged usage.

As always new version can be downloaded from
How to find Monthly Dataone bandwidth usage

Thanks to all users for their support.

Hi Shaplus, I use 'ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter'. I have a problem.....The list of usage at BSNL portal has all the entries of all sessions of the month till now...but the data used is almost half of the data recorded by ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter. The problem is not linked with free night hours. Which information should be assumed correct? In Shaplus settings, I have first two checkboxes selected. First selected option is Fast ethernet adapter - Packet scheduler....Second selected option is WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface....The third one not selected is MS TCP Loopback interface.I am adviced to either check first or second option, not the both. What do u say? Is my usage being counted twice?

I think you can select only Wan (PPP/SLIP) interface. For testing, you can download a file with known file size and see how much the software records.

Thanks Shaplus. I will check and let you know.
