hehe. last time i used Paytm. something went wrong. payment was made. paytm received the money. but airtel did not. so my recharge was not done. paytm moved that money to its wallet. i recharged using the money in that wallet. so it all worked well for me. from what i understand i can ask paytm to transfer the money from my wallet to my credit card. that option is available to me. not so sure about freecharge. i just am not sure why you were using freecharge in the first place. i think paytm right now has the best third party mobile and dth payment platform available in the market!

I used freecharge in past, but due to some bullshit with recharge attempts, I moved to Paytm and it has never let me down.
I recommend it to every friend who has a smartphone.
Antifup: you can request free charge to refund to card, they would do manually but this might take 2-5 days for gateway and bank to complete the refund.
that's why most sites first refund the money to your account instead of card as it makes it instant refund, I've seen people refusing to understand that payment gateway and card issuing bank would need to do some work to complete the refund, but customers always wanted Instant refund to their card which is technically not possible not even if you are son of mastercard or visa :Boy Zip:
yeap. Paytm was able to refund me the money to my paytm wallet instantly. allowing me to recharge again using those funds. saved them and me a lot of hassle in the process.
Account refund would be better, since the card was a virtual CC and it was made using a friend's account.
yeah, but virtual CC would also honor refunds, however I've Never been able to use HDFC Netsafe card on Paytm.
I would never save my card details at any provider, no matter how secure they are...
