LOL, I got excited, added 5k to charge the Tata Sky thinking I would get 1K back, but *boom*, Rs 40 max cash back. Kind of lame deal.

They say per transaction, so I guess you can do this about 25 times to get your 1k in your freecharge.in
In fact, you can do this 21 times, spend 4200 rupees, get 840 as credits and use that as well in 1 shot...

discount on recharges is not a regular offer unlike other retail offers.
40 off on 200 is very good discount.

They should probably keep this offer restricted to mobile recharges. Still, when someone says 20% cash back with a max recharge acceptable value of 5k, then one would assume that max should be at least Rs 500. They let you recharge upto Rs 9999 without this gosf offer, I fail to understand why they restricted to 5k when the max cash back is mere 40 bucks.

For Airtel, maybe Airtel Money itself might be a better option for bigger amounts
