MTNL Mumbai Frequent disconnection on 8mbps plan...!!!

I have 8 mbps plan, use 2750u D-Link router. Of late from last 2 to 3 weeks, the connection drops frequently or speed is very slow or when i am on voice conference calls, i can not hear other side very well (almost do not hear other side for few sec, it keeps happening).

I have tried calling mtnl guys a lot, they have changed cable pair and what not but no resolution. I am almost out of patience and thinking to switch to alternate service provider.

Any options i could look at on mtnl, snr is pathetically low at 10 and 7 and attenuation at 30 and 18 , have tried to explain this could be an issue to mtnl guys but seems they dont know how to address this.

try complaining on pgportal about poor line quality resulting in frequent disconnections. i assume you would need fresh wiring from your house to the nearest box!

Done that, and have used cat 6 cable from mtnl box to my home router. Have told them to try changing pair within it.

No parallal phones, this is dedicated line for adsl Internet only.

What is acceptable line attenuation?

After rounds of mtnl, snr increased to 22 and 12, it fluctuates a lot though, and i still see lot of issue when some one calls me over ip, i can not hear them in between. Any suggestion? Line attenuation is 29.5 and 19.5

Crc errors are at 2755 and 79, and hec errors 13826 and 4460, fec errors 8356 and 0
