From Which Date to count the traffic every month

Caan any one please explain whats pro rata?I got data one yesterday oct 17 .How much should i use in this month ? 1 GB?
 
That should be 1024 MB / 31 days * 15 daysPls do this calculation. i am poor at it. :)
