It does.

@rick12 Resetting should fix the login issue and give you your default initial login. Though you will need to reconfigure BSNL settings I guess.

Though if the new password has been set by the firmware I doubt it will go back to old one.

No, resetting will only remove the user configuration. The firmware update remains.
