There is no STB heating problem. I watched it for 8 hrs yesterday without any issue.

yes u r right.today i also called cc.i asked them about heating problem.they told me that there is no problem in stb.they told me that all software process has been completed.they will launch it very soon.

Heating problems are STB realted and now BIg TV started to change STB who have problems. My friend have 1 Month old connection and he had no problems of hetaing

If they launch commercially in June, they have the rain fade effect waiting for them, due to the monsoon arrival in cities like Mumbai.Dish TV and Tata Sky call centres had a tough time during rains, due to major customer complaints of their signals disappearing..thanks to the monsoons affecting DTH technology around the globe.Yes, this may be temporary and an auto resolving issue. But if Reliance is facing hardware and software issues as per the numerous posts aka rumours floating here and other internet forums or blogs or even our newspaper, they do not want one more issue added to the list which is in fact a natural phenomenon during monsoons, wherever DTH operates. Besides, customers will certainly not accept answers like this is temporary etc., since the money they have invested for the subscription coupled with the BIG expectations is already huge. With BIG, the expectations are already bigger. The sooner they launch the better. I actually want to witness Tata Sky's reaction once they launch commercially, since their channel list is really small compared to BIG. Worse, some forum members here claim that Tata Sky's channel offering has reached its max capacity, due to transponder shortage. Besides the ego issues with Zee as usual, the transponder shortage seems to be the reason for removing channels as per Vikram Kaushik's whims and fancies. Perhaps Rupert Murdoch's idea is the focus should always be on his Star Channels, whilst using Tata Sky and nothing else.Am not bothered much about Dish even if they are the largest DTH service provider and have SRK as their brand ambassador.You cant fool customers endlessly with immature slogans like Wish Karo etc. The company which offers value for money eventually succeeds. This is not restricted to DTH companies alone but any company in the world.
