I got a few emails (spam) pretending from not so close contacts (mr.X wants you to try etc type) - I guess this does not confirm it, but could be. I replied to those contact(s) to check their emails for hack.

Even i got an email from a friend...which was weird

replaced mine email id as receiver@gmail and friend's as sender@gmail

That's nothing. I get spam email from my own ID. Spoofed mostly.

Getting spam from own id is common stuff
But this email was sent to the full list of ids

Well, did not. But what I am saying is suddenly I get flurry of emails from them, from someone who is just an acquaintance, its likely that atleast the contact list was leaked..

Aviral's data looks real deal. Phishing is a big deal and I guess it still happens on a grand scale.

Lol do not have a spam from my id in the spam folder at this moment. Those headers are nasty. But this is real stuff. And this friend is in paris currently. So i think there was some large scale hacking. I got an apology email afterwards stating that account was hacked.

5 of my friends account were hacked, password changed and spam mail sent to all contacts. 1st I got the spam mails from them. And later apology stating that their account were hacked. IP was of Romania

i send a attachment. I get reply back, I don't see my own attachment until I go in sent mail. What kind of noob updates has been gmail sending lately.
Not to mention I can't edit the email ID as the dam email ID is all boxed.
