AAJ Tak is not really biased. they are just working hard to stay on top. TRP matters the most for them. that brings in the advertising... perhaps the only profitable news channel in india.

great news. i always wanted fox news. Those who don't like fox news, just don't watch it. infact even indian news channels are biased. Ndtv 24*7 has infact become a poodle of general mushi and our "beloved" soniaji. i am sick and tired of left wing news channels and want some other options available.So it's great news they plan to come to india.hopefully our leftist govt. doesn't block this as well. people don't have any problems when al jazeera is already shown on bsnl's iptv network even though it the most biased network in the world and even carries a lotta of anti-india content. So why prevent fox news from coming here ??Hopefully they will bring in fox sports as well.

Heh, let these ppl get FOX and then make up their own mind ..its right wing shit, course if u like it then u might find it quite ok, but in comparison to others its just trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. What would you expect from News Corp.They were *all* for the attack against Iraq and were very vocal about it...this is just a small example of what right wing is. If your idea of cool is kicking over countries on the basis of manufactured lies then yeah..FOX rulz.The worry is that Murdoch will do the same to what is/was a very valued (some might say the king) of papers, the WSJ.But time will tell.

I can understand that people are happy that we are getting more channels. But please be warned that Fox News is considered to be the most biased and unreliable news channel in the States. In fact, some people hate it so much that they invented a device to block it! (And this device did sell well AFAIK).

So this isn't good news as far as I am concerned.

And furthermore, I really don't think that we need more American TV. Why don't they get more television from other countries? Or better yet, why can't we develop better channels ourselves.

We cant we suck at it ....Personally i want as much american/european tv channels in my dth as possible.
