I ACTUALLY GOT A BETTER IDEA TO SCREW AIRTEL.
1. EVERYONE WHO HATES AIRTEL, CLICK ON ALL ADS EITHER GOOGLE ADS, MAIL, SEARCH ENGINE RESULT. SPARE 10 MIN.
2., CREATE A POST TO COLLECT ALL EMAIL ,FACEBOOK, TWITTER ,ETC IDS RELATED OR OF AIRTEL TEAM, MANAGEMENT , MARKETING , CUSTOMER CARE. CREATE A STANDARD OR TEMPLATE LETTER,COMPLIANTS, HATE MESSAGES . FIX A DAY SOMETHING LIKE 13/02/2010.FLOOD THOSE IDS WITH MAILS. CALL IT

Better option is vote with your money and switch to other operators. Once you have switched, let the Airtel know by email, social networking sites like twitter, facebook etc. about why you switched.Clicking on their ads will not help. These companies have a defined and fixed budget for every year that they must spend on ads. They will spend their budget even if they don't get any milage from that ad spend.

Hehe... I am not recharging my Airtel number. Rs.21.21 balance from last 2-3 months......Let it exhaust first, I'll switch over to MTNL.. for Unlimited 3G

I already kicked the broadband part out of my house, just waiting for the initial MNP rush to settle down to move my mobile number away from Airtel as well. Down with their 25 GB FUP shit... who are they to tell me that 25 GB is enough for me!!!

As for social networking and other word of mouth campaigns - I make it a point to bring this topic up in every social interaction of mine - at work, at a party or a pub or even with someone who doesn't care about broadband - i make it a point to tell them how Airtel is messing with your internet freedom and how their customer service has gone to the dogs.

About the day - well I suggest a more co-ordinated "attack" and a recurring one like in Egypt - how about 13th of every month being an Anti Airtel Day!!
