no harm in keeping this button enabled. i removed apture and webrupee code to lessen the scripts already.

If I click the +1 button, will the forum benefit from this ? I mean I clicked +1 one page, and found another good thread. Should I click +1 2 times ?

Here you go. Plenty of stuff blocked. I need to now selectively enable the +1. Working on it

i can probably remove a bunch of more scripts. would lose access to tons of analytic data which i seldom use.

google +1 is connected to individual forum pages. so +1 on the specific page which has the useful content. you can only +1 a specific web page one time. just like the facebook like button.

as for helping the forum, it does. number of +1s to a page/site is now one of the hundreds of parameters used for search rankings.

and the links you +1 would be highlighted in your own search results for relevant keywords. people who are connected to you through google social connections would also get to see them.

OK tell me this. When I take the mouse over the +1 button it shows my email ID. I don't want my ID to be published.
