Manage aliases which are used to mask your Yahoo! ID in places like Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo! Message Boards. Create an alias like "free2rhyme" or "dairyman88".

i remember using them on yahoo messenger. :|

yes but that is different from disposable address.

technically, you can use + sign to create unlimited disposable email ids on gmail too. :|

i guess it is not as good of a feature coz your primary email id remains visible in the disposable ids you create. so i suppose, that does not work out for you.

primary email is not visible at all, can't even give smallest hint of real email address name.
It's very secure since you can't login so anyone attempting to get into can't get in at all.

Just give a shot, you will fell in love with it.

it was annoying enough to login to yahoo mail and look at the mega sized ads. i have no love for them. flickr is the only yahoo service i use today apart from yahoo pipes. and i am already in the process of migrating from flickr to picasa web.

I want pop support but due to the security offered by yahoo.
So I compromised over comfort & went for peace of mind.
