Got the update this morning. I think there has been an improvement w.r.t battery consumption.

Yes. Battery life has improved on my Nexus 4 and device runs cooler while in use.

got it automatically on nexus 7. have not seen any major improvement in battery life. but performance wise this is pretty solid.

WIFI radio still sucks. Infact there is a very minor degradation in wifi connectivity.Overall nothing impressive in this update.
