Updated vis sideloading. This is the first change I noticed. Translucent status bar and navigation buttons on lock screen. There's still no GEL though.



Users report that Whatsapp is now working on ART. I'm yet to switch to it.

tried flashing From TWRP. failed saying updater script error

I always use stock recovery for flashing official updates. For safe side I flashed stock system.img too before proceeding.

Edit: Found I had modified framework, thats why it wasn't flashing. Flashed stock again and updated.

Switched to ART. There is a huge difference in performance. Phone is much snappier now. The home button lag is gone. Whatsapp is finally working.
BTW, the phone gets super hot in the 'Android is upgrading' screen after switching to ART.

is there a wake by volume key solution u came across that works on ART

I don't use any mods. So no idea.

I really love to have extra quick settings and wake by volume keys. want to save my power button just in case.
