Yep!!! So thats something great! The wait is coming to an end finally!! So what happens after the OS update.....do i have to reinstall all my apps that are attached to my account?

TW on ICS is unbearable.

do i have to reinstall all my apps that are attached to my account?

I don't think so. In official updates, data is usually conserved.

on nexus s, nothing was required to be restored. it just worked out of the box. though a lot of people say that resetting the phone after an upgrade massively improves the performance. i plan to do that soon on my phone.

So it wud be better if i too reset it! Now i had reset 1 phone when it was new, and no other app installed. So i want to know that after the reset, the apps attached to my account will flow in automatically, or i will have to do something?

my own experience? apps have to be installed manually. so make a list of the apps you have installed.

Gosh! Thats a bad thing then! I wonder what kind of list u must have made. But atleast i will be able to see it in "My Apps" on Market ryt? Or is it that i shud make a list manually of the apps that i need regularly?

ok here is a thing. a friend told me that android reinstall all apps automatically. i am not sure how that is even remotely possible. in any case, it does not happen with me. i have to install all apps manually. and i did not really make a list. i just downloaded and installed apps as i needed them. works out better for me because a lot of apps end up staying installed without being used at all.

right. paid apps appear at the bottom of my apps at the bottom where you can quickly install them if you so desire. this happens also for apps that you have purchased but not installed or uninstalled.
