I barely got 8 hours of backup time. But then most of this time was spent exploring Lollipop :punch:

I have no idea why GPS is set to high accuracy by default. I did clean install today without restoring any backup and location was set to high accuracy. That's a major culprit behind battery drain. No apps other than navigation require accuracy in few metres.[emoji35]

It does not show the uptime anymore. It shows the time to dead battery. Which is nice but I hate to manually calculate the uptime :D

hehe. i mean just to get a basic idea how fucked up my battery is. i work from home so time is a totally different currency here. i do not have a schedule where i charge the phone at night and use it the whole day next day :P

Oh I see. But screen on time will still give you a better idea how much you used it since last charge. Uptime will only tell you when you last unplugged device from power source.

yup. my screen on time is usually quite low because i have access to a computer pretty much all the time at home.

I am close to getting 5hr 30 min on this very first cycle. On dev preview of lollipop, it never crossed 4 hours and 4.5 on kitkat. Its first time that I am seeing 5hr plus screen time. Its that huge improvement to notice. Can see that battery percentage numbers are refusing to decrease.[emoji3]
