it is working for me! though it still takes too much time and fails on most songs for me.

I installed Google Assistant App from Play Store on my Moto Z Play and wife's Samsung A7. So now its displaying in App drawer as separate app.

Chromecast + enabling Samsung anynet+ in the TV.

this looks like a new update

You can now turn on and off your Chromecast-connected TV with a Google Home command

google does have the ecosystem advantage compared to alexa.
Amazon does not even let you control fire tv stick using echo right now.
freaking idiots both of these companies.

just tried on some obscure Tamil songs, wow it identified 10/10 XD
