it would not. google is offering the stock android version that nexus devices get if you use advance features of google calendar. i am not sure if sense/touchwiz calendar support all the features of the stock android's calendar.
i would suggest disabling the calendar that came with your phone and use this one. this applies if you use google calendar for managing your calendar. google now has the ability to update (and add new features) directly to the app instead of delivering them in a new android build.
works fine for me. takes a bit of time if you have too many things to sync. in fact, it syncs great with the calendar app in windows 8. any new event i create is posted to the web edition within seconds which is then synced with the mobile app as well. :\
