Google Chrome Updates

Is chrome killing the bookmarks on the new page? Got updated to v94 and now when I open new tab it triggers the search bar and there is no way of accessing the bookmarks on the ntp.
This behavior is observed in chrome android.

Google Chrome is getting a sidebar like Firefox. Currently it seems to have panels for Reading List and Bookmarks. Works on Stable if you turn on this flag: chrome://flags/#side-panel.

Enables a browser-level side panel for a useful and persistent way to access your Reading List and Bookmarks. – Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS

chrome://flags/#enable-autofill-upi-vpa is also there.

If enabled, when autofill recognizes a UPI/VPA value in a payment form, it will offer to save it. If saved, it will be offered for filling in fields which expect a VPA. – Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android

The back-forward cache stores pages to allow for instant navigations to previously-visited pages after cross-site navigations.

This is a pretty cool feature when I played with it few months ago by turning on a flag. But Twitter really hated it.

small relief from google for people like me who hate the non-standard share card in the app.

the latest update has limited the apps shown so you do not have to scroll horizontally to access more section.

and it has surprisingly added two of the apps i share to most in the core section. first slot is of course reserved for whatsapp where i have never shared ever from inside chrome.

Removed WhatsApp and Gmail took its place. My own two preferred apps are still at second and third spot.
