Open in Reading Mode in Google Chrome

so chrome now lets you open current page in reading mode if you select some text and open context menu. of course, they had to fuck it up so reading mode opens in sidebar instead of same/new tab.

looks like you can just click on the sidebar icon and the current page opens in reader mode in that. awful implementation.

This is how Google expects us to open reading mode. And that too in a cramped sidebar.

Context menu retains the option I see. But for some reason, Google loaded a popup tip to access reading mode through the menus. Missed taking a screenshot of that nonsense.

LOL. You can also pin it on the toolbar I see. Too bad, it is still quite useless in sidebar and also failed to work on a few links I just tried on Indian news sites.
