Google fucked up the tab grouping and tab layout.
You can't disable them through Flags.
Only way is to reset Chrome to factory version.

It has been enabled for me for a while. I don't use it. Not sure how it breaks Chrome for you?

i mean i don't like the tab manager. very annoying.

Everybody hates the grid layout including me.
Before this update one could disable it through Flags but not anymore.

right. google has a habit of messing up things people are used to for years. every couple of version there is a new annoyance. thankfully, this one does not affect me much. i only open the tab manager to close all tabs
